"REBUILDING CAPRICA AFTER THE FIRST CYLON WAR "

A photorealistic exterior scene of the Battlestar Galactica returning home to Caprica as the city is being rebuilt. Created in 3DSMAX. Fire, smoke and explosion fx created using Pyrocluster plugin, enhanced via sunlight system/photometric lights, radiosity calculated indirect lighting, ray tracing of direct lights and high quality textures. see large version >

 

 

"JUDGEMENT DAY "

A photorealistic exterior scene of citywide destruction created in 3DSMAX. This 3D rendered scene is to be a featured article and tutorial in issue 11 of 3D Artist Magazine (www.3dartistonline.com), to be published in JAN or FEB 2010, I believe. Fire, smoke and explosion fx created using Pyrocluster plugin, enhanced via sunlight system/photometric lights, radiosity calculated indirect lighting, ray tracing of direct lights and high quality textures. see large version >

Each rendering below was created using just a single Intel based PC (2.9 ghz w/ 3 gb ram). These images represent the very cream of my latest work and most of which can be found in the major online CG and 3D galleries (galleryof3d.com,renderosity.com, cgsociety.com, cg channel, etc,.)

These images demonstrate a broad range of my current 3d environmental artistry and includes examples of a photorealistic interior environment (oubliette), photorealistic ambient objects (wild west), photorealistic exterior urban environs (carnevale jester's wedding day) and last but not least, a complex exterior natural environment (eagle's nest).
